As a family involved in Pony Club and more specifically Tetrathlon for many years, we feel very lucky to have had Sally coach our four children. Sallys knowledge, wisdom, professional coaching along with her excellent facilities at Grange Farm, are of the highest standard.

In the Pony Club we cater for a wide variety of ages and capabilities from complete beginners on tiny ponies to advanced combinations representing their country in tetrathlon and eventing. Sally provides confidence building sessions, either 1:1 or groups where she challenges and brings out the best in every individual. The education for both horse/pony and rider is of the highest standard.

Sally’s depth of knowledge and wealth of experience enables training to be progressive and pitched at just the right level to challenge and improve any combination.

I have worked with and had the pleasure of observing Sally as a coach. She has an in-depth knowledge of all the three disciplines of eventing, and demonstrates a very good understanding of what the horse and rider need at all levels. She has a real knack of bringing out the best in horses and riders.

My two daughters, Megs and Lara, were trained by Sally from Pony Club level right up to international 3*. Over the years, they had a range of horses from young and green to very experienced. Sally was always very patient with our young horses, bringing them on slowly and fully consolidating each step before asking them to move on to the next phase of their training. The horses always came first and were never asked to do anything until they were fully ready.

Sally’s teaching was nothing short of excellent with the girls at every level. She developed both my daughters’ riding skills in a clear, focussed and fun manner and in turn instilled great confidence in their partnerships with their horses.

We used Sally mainly for XC training but leant on her also for showjumping and dressage. I cannot recommend her enough!

As a very proactive riding club we train with Sally a few times a year by holding clinics at Grange Farm. Sally is super at catering for all levels and disciplines, the clinics are always fully booked and sold out in advance.

The all-weather XC facility is excellent for young/green and advanced horses.

Grange Farm XC

Grange Farm is a wonderful mature facility with plenty of room for schooling ponies and horses of all ages and experience. We’ve used Grange Farm extensively over the past 2-3 years because of its central location and its huge variety of challenges, undulations and tracks.. The mature trees and foliage throughout the arena replicate real XC conditions which all help to give experience to the animals. Sally’s knowledge, experience and professionalism ensures that every training day is a learning one for both horse and rider.

I have had the pleasure of holding numerous coaching sessions at Grange Farm XC schooling facilities and find it to be a great place for XC schooling and education for both horses and riders of all levels. There is a great variation of fixed features like banks, ditches and a water complex that can all be jumped in different places and directions.

In addition a great variation of modern XC fences of all sizes which are often moved round to create educational technical lines and means that one can use Grange Farm again and again with new questions and challenges for both horse and rider. I have always found the going very good and reliable. Grange Farm is always very well maintained.

High Performance

I have known Brendan and Sally Corscadden for nearly 40 years. Their combined horsemanship and knowledge can be clearly seen in the cleverly designed cross country training grounds at Grange Farm.

I have watched Sally over the years develop first into a high echelon rider and then attain a similar standard as a coach.Therefore I would highly recommend her as a horsewoman and coach who specialises in giving great confidence to riders by helping them build positive partnerships with their horses through progressive training.
